For labels & artists
Reach the DJs who'll actually play it.
A promo blast reaches inboxes. CrateSonar reaches sets. Deliver a release and we match it — acoustically — to the signature sound of every DJ on the platform, so it lands on the radar of the people whose crates it fits, not a genre bucket it happens to be tagged with.
How a release finds its DJs
No pitching, no playlist politics — matching is done on the audio itself.
01 · Deliver
You send us the track
Through the submission portal or a DDEX delivery. You confirm you hold the rights and authorise acoustic analysis.
02 · Fingerprint
We measure how it sounds
We reduce the audio to an acoustic fingerprint and delete the file immediately — we never host, stream, or redistribute it.
03 · Surface
It appears on matching radars
The release shows up for DJs whose seed tracks sit closest to yours in sound — in their weekly radar and digest.
Rights & trust
Built for people who own the music.
CrateSonar is an ingestion engine, not a distributor. We don't sell, stream, or hand your audio to anyone — it exists on our side only as a set of numbers describing how it sounds, and the original file is gone within seconds of analysis.
- Every submission carries a rights attestation.
- New submitters are reviewed once before anything goes live.
- Embed-and-delete: no audio is stored, ever.
- Full delivery audit trail, available to delivery partners.
Two ways in
Submission portal
For approved rights-holders sending releases one at a time. Fastest way to get started — approved labels go live immediately.
DDEX pipeline
For catalogue delivery at volume. We accept ERN 4.3 deliveries to a per-partner endpoint and acknowledge each one. Ask us for a DPID onboarding.
Questions from labels
What does it cost?
Delivering releases to the pool is free. CrateSonar makes its money from DJ subscriptions, not from labels — our incentive is to surface music DJs genuinely want.
Do you take a cut or a licence?
No. We don't distribute, sell, or stream your music, so there's nothing to licence and no revenue to split. We only measure how a release sounds and point matching DJs to it.
What happens to my audio?
It's turned into an acoustic fingerprint and deleted straight after — within seconds. We never keep, host, or share the file.
How do DJs hear the release?
It appears on the radar and in the digest of DJs whose signature sound matches yours, with a link back to wherever the release lives. We don't stream it ourselves.
Can I deliver a whole catalogue?
Yes — that's what the DDEX pipeline is for. We accept standard ERN deliveries and acknowledge each one. Get in touch for a partner onboarding.
